Does this child look sick to you?
This morning Ian was complaining about his throat hurting. I thought he was fine, not sick enough to miss school or anything. I took Isabelle to preschool in Cut Bank, and made sure I had my cell phone the whole time, just in case his school called. As soon as I got back home (about 11:30) I checked the answering machine to make sure they had not tried to call here while I was gone. I thought, "He must be OK."
Then I was talking to Martha on the phone, and Stephen came home. Ian's school called him at work, b/c the phone here was busy. I had to go pick Ian up.
As soon as I got to the school, I could tell that he was feeling OK. He was excited and energetic. His "sore throat" did not keep him from talking constantly all the way home, and begging to go play outside. At first I told him he had to rest, but I decided I was just punishing myself. I let him go outside to play, and it was much more peaceful in the house. In the picture, he is eating a popsicle, trying not to look too healthy. I think the only disease he may have is Spring Fever!

Sorry to tie up the phone in an "emergency". Ian is learning at a young age!
