Do the falls always have water going
over them? The creek looks inviting.

This is one of our favorite short hikes, and the falls has an interesting history. I was going to type out some of the history, and then I realized that I don't have to do that. It is already done on these great sites. Check them out!

How the falls got its name

The falls is sometime called Trick Falls. In the spring, the water flows through two openings. As the water level becomes lower, the water only flows through the lower opening.
We visit many times throughout the spring and summer, and it is slightly different every time.
