Cooking with Caleb

Caleb loves to help me cook. There are many things he can't help me with (anything involving hot or sharp objects.), but he does love to help make bread. Last week we made Pumpkin Bread together. It turned out very good even if the flour was on the table, the chair, the floor and Caleb!

This reminds me of the times I got to cook with Isabelle and Kathleen. Ian and Caleb had more fun experimenting, with vinger and baking soda then add some flavors and anything else that I had on the shelf. Always a fun time. I sure do miss those times.

Maybe he can help me with the pumpkin cheesecake. It seems Boots is bringing a cheesecake tomorrow, so mine is banned. Of course, everyone would flock to mine and ignore hers, and I don't want to hurt her feelings---unless she lets little Stevie be mean to Amelia again. Then I might have to break my rule (that I never follow) and tell her how to raise her child-at least how to keep him quiet for a while. Maybe Amelia and I will play outside. It's supposed to be a nice, sunny day!
