Halloween Pictures

We had a busy Halloween. Ian was a supervampire. That means that he wore his superman costume with neon Halloween teeth. We tend to get alot of wear out of costumes. Ian's was a birthday present from Aunt Sarah when he turned 6. He wore it last year and this year, and wears it just to play sometimes. I think his teacher had a loooooooooong day. Can you imagine a class full of 7-8 yr olds, mostly boys, excited and high from sugar. I'm glad it wasn't me!

Isabelle had a snow white dress to wear (also a birthday present from Aunt Sarah). She wore it to story time in Cut Bank and then to preschool. As soon as she could in preschool, she took it off. By the time I got there to take some pictures of her class, she was wearing her tank top and tights. Her class carved a pumpkin and scooped out the seeds.

Caleb was a leopard, but we called him baby jaguar. This costume was Ian's for 2 yrs, then a friend wore it one year, then Isabelle wore it one yr, and now it is Caleb's turn. It's hard being the third child! He was so cute. He only wanted to wear the hood outside, and it was super cold and windy, so I never got a good picture of him in it. Caleb and I stayed for about 1/2 of Isabelle's Halloween party at preschool. He had fun watching the computer games and joining in the snack.
In the evening we had our usual mob of trick-or-treaters. Isabelle enjoyed passing out treats for the first hour or so, but then it got old. We had about 500 kids (anyone who has lived here knows that is not an exaggeration.) We had some neighbors come over, everyone brought some treats, and we all took turns handing them out. That way it is not so overwhelming for one person.
In the last picture, Isabelle has a pair of the purple neon teeth in her mouth. I wasn't paying close enough attention, and she gave the pair that was in her mouth to one of the kids. OOPS!
