Sunday Pictures

On Sunday morning, we tried to do some group shots, and I was reminded how hard it is to get everyone to look at the camera. Stephen was trying out the timer function, so that we could get everyone in the shot.
Just in case you are wondering what is on Ian's forehead, it is a batman tattoo. We had batman and superman tattoos at Halloween, and Ian and Isabelle stuck them on their arms, legs, chests, and one on Ian's forehead. Ian had school pictures today, so I took his off last night.
The first picture was a test picture to make sure that everything was set up right. You can tell that Kathleen was the only one actually sitting still.
The second one is good, except that someone has their eyes closed-- Oh, that was me. We took a couple more after that and I closed my eyes in all of them. So in the last one, I made sure to open my eyes really wide-- Can you tell? Caleb and Kathleen were squirming to get down, I'm not sure what Isabelle was doing, and Ian just got lost in the background. Well, at least Stephen was smiling and looking at the camera.
Maybe next time, we'll do better!

The last picture is from church. I wish I could say that I had the children's attention that well while I was teaching Sunday School. But they were watching a movie. Some of the children were dropped off early for Sunday School, and the pastor put on a movie for them. When we got there our kids automatically sat quietly, and watched it with them. That was such a rare moment, I had to document it!

I think you should use the last family picture-before the Sunday school picture for your new family blog picture. It seems like a realistic family.

I agree with Martha. The group doesn't look like a wanted poster.
Hey, I'm praying for you. Love Jo

Anna,
Does your photo program allow you to take one thing from one picture and put it on another. One time Don spent hours taking a good picture of one lady from one picture and putting it on another so the picture would be good of everyone in the picture. jo

To Jo:
It probably does. Stephen got me Photoshop for Christmas, but I have never had time to sit down and read through the manual... Maybe some day...
