Stamped Notebook Cover

This weekend I did alot of stamping. On Thursday, I went to Michael's and picked out crafting things for my mother's day present. At Jonie's, I made this notebook cover for a mini legal pad. I will put more projects on later.

Zoo Montana

Yesterday we went to Zoo Montana in Billings. It was a very small zoo, but nice. There were no crowds, and everything was spread out. The first part was a scenery gardens. There were beautiful flowers, a waterfall, and peacocks. The kids were able to run around and look at everything.

The bald eagles at the zoo were injured and are unable to fly. The zoo is their sanctuary.
Caleb was excited to see all of the ducks at the waterfowl exhibit. He enjoyed chasing them around!
This is a wolverine, aka skunk bear. It was the first time any of us had ever seen one.

We had a great time at the zoo, and then we were off to the Hines for more fun!

Swimming

We are in Billings, at a hotel with a 90 foot water slide. We drove from Great Falls yesterday, and then Stephen went swimming with Ian and Isabelle for more than 3 hours. I tried to take Caleb in, but he wasn't too excited about the idea. This morning they went swimming some more, and we are heading to the zoo next!

Awanas

Our award program for Awanas was last night. Everyone's family was invited. They had the kids sing songs. All of the kids got certificates and awards. They were all excited.
After Awanas, we drove to Great Falls and this morning we are heading to Billings.

Caleb's blanket

Of all our children, Caleb is the only one who has a blanket he has to have to sleep. Any of his flannel receiving blankets will work, and if he sees more blankets, he wants them. In this picture he is sleeping with three. He's so cute when he first lays down. He will put the blanket under him, and hug it with his arms.

Dirty Caleb

Yesterday after supper the kids went outside. We were not watching Caleb closely enough. He went to the big hole in our backyard and covered himself in dirt. He had alot of fun doing it! (Just in case you were wondering where the big hole came from-- Ian and friends dig in it everytime they are playing outside.)
