Random picuters

The first picture is all of the kids ready to go for a walk. We go for multiple walks every day. This one was just up and down the street in our neighborhood. We also walk to the post office, library, grocery store, etc.
The second picture is one of Caleb after I tried to wash ketchup out of his hair.

The end of the day

We've been spending lots of time outside. You can tell at the end of the day, Isabelle and Caleb are worn out. However, Ian always seems to have more energy!

This was regarding our future plans. If we go with the CMA, they will pay our support. With GO mission, we will need to raise our financial support. We have completed the paperwork for GO, and been accepted as candidates. We are in the final stages of our paperwork with CMA, and hope to know more soon.

This was from May 24. We only got a light dusting of snow. It is possible to get snow any time of the year here. We have had snow flurries in June & July before. This past Monday, Stephen was in Heart Butte, and they had snow flurries there.

The was much warmer. We do get extreme changes in the weather here. The biggest recorded temperature change made the Guiness World Book of Records. According to the official site for the town of Browning

The biggest temperature variation recorded in one day is 56°C (100°F), in a fall from 7 to -49°C (44 to -56°F) at Browning, Montana, USA on January 23–24, 1916.

We haven't had anything quite so drastic since we have lived here!

Yesterday morning, it was still a bit too chilly to be outside. The kids amused themselves by playing dress-up. In the pirate theme, we had a hunt for treasure. (We found it in Madagascar.) According to the map, there is more treasure in Tasmania. We may have to go on another adventure soon!

This is one of our favorite short hikes, and the falls has an interesting history. I was going to type out some of the history, and then I realized that I don't have to do that. It is already done on these great sites. Check them out!

How the falls got its name

The falls is sometime called Trick Falls. In the spring, the water flows through two openings. As the water level becomes lower, the water only flows through the lower opening.
We visit many times throughout the spring and summer, and it is slightly different every time.

We were impressed with the picture you took of Caleb's hat blowing in the wind. That is an excellent Picture. Grandpa wants to know who buried Ian in the sand. That is a good picture also (referring to this post)
Vicki buried Ian in the sand, with assistance from Isabelle. For some reason, he really wanted to be buried. (Who can understand what goes on in the mind of a seven year old boy?)

While I was at the homeschool conference in Great Falls on Friday, Stephen got lots of great action shots of the kids. It was fun to come back and see what they did all day.
