Snow

On Wednesday we got our first snowfall here. (There were flurries another morning, but nothing that stuck.)
The snow fell lightly all day, but it kept melting when it hit the ground. There was just enough for the kids to play in the snow after school.

Science Museum

We were happy to have Stephen's parents visiting us this past week. One of the things that we did with them was to take a trip to a science museum. Here the kids are looking at a wall of water. It started on the second floor and flowed down to the first floor. They were all fascinated by it.

Newport, VT

The closest US town to us is Newport, VT. It is only about 30-40 minutes away. We have a PO Box there now, and we have gone to check mail and buy groceries every 2-3 weeks. There is also a boardwalk that goes partway around the lake.
This is from 2 Fridays ago. Stephen and I had class off, so we took Caleb with us to Newport. It was a beautiful fall day, and we had time for a walk before heading back to Canada.

We went to this park on Sunday Oct 11. The top picture is our shadows. (The two shadows on the ends belong to other people... Maybe I should have cropped the photo first.)
From where we were standing, we could see the whole city of Sherbrooke. It was quite beautiful with all of the fall colors.
