Birthday Party at the Samoutous

The Samoutou family had two birthdays last week, Karis turned 2 and Cherissa turned 7. They had a joint birthday party with creative games including Henri dressed up as the elephant king. Everyone had a great time!

Learning about Animals

We had a special presentation from one of our visitors Gillian Norbert-Tikun.  She is a veterinarian, and she took some time to talk to the kids about her work.

We had the perfect props to go with the talk- lots of animals and books about animals!

Swimming

Mediterranean Sea

 One of the best parts or our trip to Spain was spending time at the Mediterranean Sea.  Our hotel was right across from the Sea, and we had a great view from the balcony.

The water was cold, but the kids managed to at least get their feet in.  Isabelle is the only one that kept diving into the water.

Art Class

Claire Harvey has been teaching the kids an Art Class on Friday afternoons with Isabelle Harvey as her assistant.  This past Friday evening, they had an Open House.  Each child took turns explaining some of the artwork and the things they had learned.

Hair Salon

Tabitha and Isabelle were pretending to have a hair salon.

Caleb was their first and only customer of the day. He loved his spiky hair. His next style was a Mohawk.
