Every bird that Caleb has seen on this trip is a "duck." It doesn't matter if it is a pigeon or a seagull, he still calls it a duck. He loves to chase them. He was chasing some huge seagulls on Friday evening. I don't know what he would do if he caught one!

The first display we went to was a dinosaur exhibit. This was where we spent the majority of the time. The kids all loved it. There were some hands on things that they could do.

My favorite area was the tropical butterfly house. There was a large enclosed area full of butterflies. I could have watched them for hours. We took the kids through one at a time, so that we could keep a really close eye on them. Caleb and Isabelle loved it, but Ian got scared. A large blue butterfly tried to land on him, and he wanted to leave after that.
The area around the butterfly house was all about bugs. The kids even had a chance to pet a hissing cockroach from Madagascar. (None of them would touch it.)

There was an area with different things that the kids could do. On this one, you walk to turn a wheel, which then turns other wheels.
