Princess Party

Isabelle decided to have a princess party. We worked together, but she planned most of the things she wanted to do.
She invited all of the other girls and their moms. (Plus Danielle, because she doesn't have any girls.)
The invitations told everyone to dress up in fancy clothes. As you can see people got into the spirit of the party.
We painted fingernails and toenails, did crafts, and had cookies and juice.
Now Caleb has decided he wants an animal party. We will have to come up with something...

More New Year's Eve

Isabelle is too tired to eat her doughnut sitting up. Caleb and Kelly seem energized by all of the sugar though!

Belated New Year's Eve Party

Our New Year's Eve party at the Harvey's house was canceled at the last minute. Fortunately, we had a make-up party. Becky and her daughters made lots of yummy doughnuts. We played games and watched a movie.

Donkeys

The Harvey's have 4 donkeys, and 2 of them live on the mission compound. The kids get to ride them at least once a week. It is a highlight for Isabelle every week. She really looks forward to it.

THE HARVEYS

Here is a picture of the Harveys. Joe is an FP doc who with his wife and kids have been in the Republic of Congo. They have a blog at www.congoharveys.blogspot.com. They also have a website at www.congoharveys.org Their story is actually pretty cool. We met them when we were on a short term mission trip in Bongolo, Gabon and have kept in touch with them ever since. Please keep them in your prayers as well.
