We went back to the same beach on Friday and stayed for six hours. Caleb started with his hat on, but it was too much to keep it on the whole time we were there. But with lots of sunscreen, we kept his little head from being sunburned through his thin blond hair!
As the day progressed, Caleb became braver about being in the water. He liked to watch the waves coming and going. I think he was wondering just what was taking place. He also liked to pick up seashells or small rocks and throw them at the water.

We were impressed with the picture you took of Caleb's hat blowing in the wind. That is an excellent Picture. Grandpa wants to know who buried Ian in the sand. That is a good picture also
