The tire swing was a huge hit this weekend. Even Caleb had to get in on the act.
Jo, the picts are taken w a Canon Rebel xti, with a 50mm/f1.8 lens. We also have a kit lens that zooms in to about 300mm. I will put a photo using that lens as well.

Cabin Escape

To wrap up the visit with Granny and Grandpa Wegner, we went to Todd's cabin in Dearborn, MT. It is in a beautiful location on the Missouri River. We had a great time there, relaxing and enjoying the outdoors. We took several hundred pictures while we were there, so I will have quite a few to share over the next few days.
We arrived in the afternoon on Thursday, after stopping by Great Falls to stock up on supplies. The kids were very happy to be out of the car. The weather was perfect, and we spent the whole rest of the afternoon and evening outside.
There was a tire swing in the yard, as well as a tree that was great for climbing. We all just loved being able to sit outside and look at the river and the mountains. Todd has been offering the use of his cabin since we moved here. I'm glad that we finally took him up on his offer!

Many Glacier

Yesterday, we went to Many Glacier. The weather was chilly, and it was raining with a little hail mixed in. We didn't spend much time out of the car, but mostly just drove around. We did get a few pictures.

Misc pictures from Monday

One of the things that we did today was to go to Running Eagle Falls. We have been more times than I can count, but I never get tired of it. I think the kids could spend all day there playing with the rocks, and throwing them in the water. We (read Stephen) took a zillion pictures. One day when we don't go anywhere or take any pictures I will post more, and tell some of the history of the falls.
Today Caleb got to try out his new backpack. He really enjoyed it, but I need to get used to it!

We see alot of this helicopter. Stephe was playing around with the zoom lens and snapped some pictures on it while it was on top of the hospital. In the picture below, Uncle Bill and Caleb are watching "The Backroads of Montana" with great concentration.

Who's in charge here?

This is the corner of our backyard, where Stephen set up the tent with his three helpers. When I saw the picture below, I had to laugh. Isabelle looks like she is bossing everyone around.
