Kalispell Weekend

We went to Kalispell the past two weekends. The first we just stayed one night, but we left Ian there for the week. The second weekend, we stayed the whole weekend. We have lots of packing to do, but we wanted to spend a little more time with the Orts before we left.
The pictures below are the kids eating pizza and popsicles the first weekend, and Simon celebrating his birthday the 2nd weekend.

Updates:
1. Things are going well with our move. We plan to leave on Wed, Aug 6. We will get the truck Tuesday and load it Tuesday and Wednesday. Then we will be doing lots of driving! We will be visiting lots of family and friends as we drive through the Southeast and then up to Quebec.
2. Jamie is doing very well. She is healthy, and gaining weight. They were able to find a foster care placement for her with a family that also has one of her cousins as a foster child. The family came over and met her on Tuesday, then took her to their house for a couple of hours today. They plan to take her home tomorrow evening. If it is OK with them, I will post pictures of the family here.
3. We have been able to keep in contact with Kathleen. I haven't heard anything about the custody hearing yesterday. We think we are going to be able to see her when we are in the Southeast before we head up to Canada.

Caleb and Jamie are both sleeping now, so I need to go pack some boxes!

Pictures from Thanksgiving

These are pictures of the kids watching a movie. That was the only time that they were all sitting still! Because I had so many pictures, I put the smallest size. If you click on them, you can see a larger version. The Orts were here from Wed-Fri.
I will type more later about what we have been doing, but I am busy packing!

Softball Game

Last night we went to Stephen's softball game. He is on the hospital team in the local league. The kids had fun cheering him on. His team won!

VBS- Avalanche Ranch

The theme for this week was Avalanche Ranch. In the top picture Ian is making a craft to represent the Israelites crossing the Jordan river. They you can tell that the grass on one side of the river is yellow, and the other side is green. He said that they only watered the grass on one side. The cheerios represent the 12 stones that they took out of the river and built a memorial to the Lord.

Isabelle was in the preschool class which stayed in one room for their story, games and crafts. They joined the other kids for the opening, closing and snack time. In these pictures, they are doing some songs with motions. These pictures are from "This little light of mine" and "Joshua fought the battle of Jericho." They all seemed to really enjoy their time.

Caleb enjoyed the falling down part of the Joshua song. During VBS I entertained him and another baby 2 months younger. He enjoyed having someone his size to play with for awhile.

On the last day I had the three boys wear matching shirts. I forgot to take the camera with us to Cut Bank, so I didn't get any more VBS pictures. But I had them pose in the yard in their shirts. They really liked the idea of all having the same shirt, and they were pretty cute together.

Superheros and more

Friday we went to Whitefish for eye appointments. Then we met Emmy and her kids in the park for a picnic. I didn't get a picture of Simon, their 2 week old, but he is adorable. The kids had fun playing on the playground together. It was a beautiful day to be outside.

These pictures are from later in the evening. The kids all dressed up in different costumes. By the time we found "spiderman's" mask, Isabelle was tired of her costume and mask. We spent one night in Kalispell, and Keith and Jacob came back to Browning with us to spent the week.
